I've got a supposed 410 Merc engine available for $75 but there a few glaring issues.
Block might be stuck and is on a shelf so I can't check the stroke. No heads so when the seller pulls it down with a fork lift I'll see if I can get a stroke over what would be a 390. Odd things (maybe good) no ribs on the side of the block but it does have the 45` angled oil filter adapter so I'm thinking it might be a 1976 4X4 360 engine. I didn't get a look at the rear crank flange for a notch or 1/2 moon. What would be a casting # for a 1965-66 Merc block? I'm thinking C6ME is that correct? I'll check my 428 short block for a crank flange ID.
I can go back and look at the engine again anytime.
BTW I'll most likely buy the block anyway, Normally I pay $100 for a full FE engine from the scrap yard. 6 to 10 a year. Most stuff goes back.

No special markings. I had one, it had the 352 casting mark. It was a stock 390/360 block with a 428 crank. You should see a 1U mark on the crank if you get it apart.

I've had several and they were all C6ME and C7ME castings which are also used on 390's and 428's. After I robbed the crank the only way anyone would believe me it's a 410 is to measure how far the ring wear extends.
