That’s funny until I got my new job almost five years ago still had flip phone and swear to God didn’t know how to turn a computer on if you gave me a million dollars.

Good friend of mine is in the same boat. He does have a notebook and can just vaguely get on the internet. Still only has a flip phone. Typically just has me do anything online for him, as he doesn't have credit card either(or debit card).

That’s funny I didn’t have a debit card till the same time because my checks were direct deposit, I am still getting used to not having cash on me, having my own business before this I always had cash on me. I’m still not good on the computer but learning. I still have the kids at work put pictures on the forum for me now that photobucket is gone unless you pay for it I just don’t put pics up anymore

Postimage.org is where I started putting pictures. Just like PB basically. Click photo and it saves it. I haven't put many up, but if I need to post something at least I can.
I still think cash is king, but I'm from that era. I use a card for gas(hate waiting in line at the big mega stations where everyone buys groceries too) and online purchases. Anything else, CASH! I think it is easier to keep track of when it is in your hand. I think that is why so many people are in debt up to their eyes....they just buy, buy, buy and don't realize the bill at the end of the month adds up quickly. Suddenly they don't have the CASH to pay for it. Ever see that show from Canada with the lady that is suppose to help people manage their money(get out of debt). It's crazy to see the printout on what these people buy day in/day out without even thinking.
Just last week, at grocery store, I went to pay CASH and the cashier had to clear and reset the register as I had cash in my hand and they pretty much always set it for CC. Very unusual anymore.

LOL on the flip phones, etc. I've been on the internet since 14,400 baud was a fast connection. All tech here, posting while casting House Hunters to the TV from Hulu using the Galaxy Tab. But hey, the radio in the shop is a 1982 tuner from Radio Shack. But the Aux input will take a cell playing Pandora, or from the shop TV....

I had two of those. Took all night to charge the battery and it was good for about 7-8 hours. Pre-paid by the minute.

Of course i'm one of three non-incarcerated people left in the world without a cell phone so it's better than mine.
Brent is kind of like the Taylor Swift of FE guys now. Thankfully I have no cell and won't see the "Bought these new jeans, how does my butt look?" posts! ::)

I just got an old iphone from one of the kids. My flip phone still worked great, but I can't get texts from folks with new phones. Plus work is starting to use Uber, so it was time. Least now I can see FE stuff from the Lykins

Heck - - the speakers in my house are from Radio Shack in 1981.

in the late 70's a buddy and I used to hang out at the local Radio Shack. The sales guys were really cool and let us play with everything. The Model 4 computer had just come out and there was one on display that we could use. Remember having to use a cassette to load programs!!! AH, yes!
