Wow!  Drag Week registration is now closed!!

As far as I know registration for the event has never sold out before.  This time it sold out in less than 2 weeks.  Meanwhile, here I am still waiting for feedback from Freiburger about whether my Galaxie can compete or not  >:(

I guess I'll be taking two cars instead of three; I have already registered the Mach 1 and the Shelby clone.  Oh well, at least I don't have to worry about changing to ladder bars on the Galaxie...

Wow, that's amazing and surprising that it filled up so fast. Well, now we have a firm plan anyway, we can go full speed ahead on getting the 2 cars ready and not worry about the Galaxy.

I do however predict about a 40% drop out rate of those who are now registered vs. those of them who actually show up and race. I think that the possibilty of being left out due to the 200 car limit ecouraged a lot of "iffy" contestants to go ahead and register.

Ouch! Reg. closed before you heard back on the G? That's too bad and kinda' surprising Freiburger and friends couldn't get back to a former winner/multi-year entrant and a rare Ford to boot? Perhaps they were overwhelmed with entries as HJ noted but still....that's pretty sad.
