This board is for posting information on the track results you have for your FE powered vehicle. I have put a suggested format below, and put a couple of example vehicles on the board to start with. You can copy the format from this sticky, and paste it into your post, and then fill in the information. If you don't have all the info (very few people will), don't sweat it, just fill in what you have. If you have put the engine information into the FE Dyno Results board, please link to it here. Also please post a picture or two of the car at the track if you have them. Comments always welcome. Hopefully this board will turn into a useful repository of drag strip performance.

I didn't realize each drag result should be a new thread like you listed yours. I orig. put mine here, & then tried to del. it & move it to the new thread, which I did, but it would not let me delete it here without leaving some text, hence the maybe fix this, as in deleting the whole post I made here. I dunno I'm confused, & prolly not making any sense. I like the idea of each run as a new thread, then anybody can ask questions about a setup or such without it getting lost down the page. thanks Jay.

OK, I get it. I thought I would leave this thread open for anyone who had suggestions for improvements and so forth; I'll delete your fix-it message - Jay

Jay, I believe the original post that got the discussion started on the "other" forum was looking for the fastest ( quickest ) FE powered doorslammer. Are you ok with us posting observed runs from other racers, not just a members personal results? I realize the poster probably won't have much for details unless it's a close friend. I could see bragging rights subcategories...quickest FE in a particular state, country, etc. lol.

I'd actually rather not post a bunch of ETs or horsepower numbers without the background information on the car and engine. If you can get those details, and have permission to post them from the owner, that would be no problem.
By the way Kevin, you ought to be able to post some pretty good track data from your '67 Shelby...

It would be nice if a small picture of the car were added to the post. It's certainly not necessary for the informative side of the post, but for me anyhow, a picture can help put things in perspective as to the build of the car, whether it's a street, street/strip car or a strip only car. A car that is also street driven can be even more impressive given the context of the numbers.

That's a good suggestion, Doug, I'll add that to the "recipe".

I have ran several different FEs in my 78 Fairmont, but the current 427/454 and several previous 428s were pretty much the same, other than the bore size. All numbers are of the best runs
