Title: 1963 Box Top

 I was lucky enough to pick up my dream car a 63 XL Box top, with a mild 390. I would have preferred a 4-speed, but it has a cruise-o-matic, my intention is to build a 406 for it this winter, what are the limits for the cruise o matic in regard to HP and Torque, it is just a street cruiser

If it where me id either change to a 4 speed at the same time or a C6. Cruise O is a decent cruiser trans for a 300 hp or below engine but not for a health 406.

If we get to vote, I'm for doing the 4 speed swap at the same time, too.  ;D  ;D

Bolt the bellhousing and transmission to the engine and put them all in together.
