Got one here, has been vapor blasted and is ready to bolt on. What's it worth?

Got any pictures of the inside?

Do you have the pick up they came with? If the inside is as nice as the outside and you have the pick up $350.00 +/-.
-
Do not have the pickup.
Inside is as clean as outside. Pic coming.

Brent, that one has been modified or never started as a C8AX. The internal baffles are different and the scraper assembly is not present.
I don’t have a pic right now but a search on the forum in private items will probably bring one up.

Yes I use a c8 pan and the baffles are wrong, other than that it’s clean. It looks like the original pickup might not work. I wonder if whoever’s pan that was they had a modified pickup like definetly a smaller head or oil pickup side.
-
I suppose it's been modified then. You can see where the welds have been removed for a scraper on the passenger side of the pan. Not sure about the baffles around the pickup, but I can have a pickup made.
This came in on a Tunnel Port drag race engine. Owner said he didn't want it, so I'm gonna use it on one of my own builds. Just curious as to what they go for these days. You don't see a lot of them around.

On my real C8AX-A pan had the bottom sump that was only about 2" deeper than a stock pan. The welds were machine made, and the pan held 7 quarts. Joe-JDC

This one is 2" deeper than stock, seems to be around 7 quarts.
I did search for pics of C8AX pans and they all looked to have been welded by 6 year old kids, so I thought this one was one too......

Still a good piece Brent and like you said you can make a pickup. It looks like they were trying too keep that 2 or 3 inches of oil in there so it didn’t slosh around in there.
