I have buddy that is looking for a Transistorized Ignition box and distributor for a 67 Ford fairlane 427 w code

The only one I have seen recently was one on ebay with the "F" stamped over the "E" and he wanted I think $2200. That was just the distributor. The boxes are occasionally on ebay also. Not so hard to find.

I have one, but it's dated for a 66.

Thry are pretty much impossible to find, because they were never made as a service parts. So basically only made for 3 years.
