Post by: Heo on March 18, 2022, 12:56:29 PM
I have always been facinated by abandoned places.
today i found this.

Ex. Karl Bergdal Bil, in Korpilombolo
It was a big GM dealership, they had a Shell gas station and a tire shop to
Here it is in the 60s

Here is a Cafe`that was at one end of the building,

Everything abandoned like most of the villages and towns up there
since the logging got mecanised
My friend bought a 66 Galaxie here in 84-85 something. I have told
the story about that here, when we stoped the serial killer
in a Mercedes van with a dead cow in the back, and i borrowed
the serial killers knife to cut of
the nylonrope from the cow to use as a fanbelt ;D

Cool photos Heo.

I have a similar affliction, and even got to spend a few years living and working in North Dakota which is chuck full of ghost towns and other abandoned property.  So much so that multiple books have been written and numerous National Geographic articles as well.

The definition of a gentleman is being able to make comments about certain pictures in a post, but don't do it...
