If you look at date that was last fall. There were plans but they were dropped. Unless of course they made a uturn again.

I actually saw the date but didn't see any mention so I posted, I didn't know it had been dropped, it seemed like a "done deal" type of thing.
I couldn't figure out the angle with putting it in the Mustang, dropping the 5.0 seems very odd at this point. I was pretty excited about the 6.8L in an F150 as I like the 7.3 but didn't necessarily want/need to go all the way to an F250 to get it....the way I use my truck it would be a compromise 360 days of the year where a 150 was the better choice.
-
I love my 7.3 and think it would be fun to put one in the dragster, or even the Falcon. But my lotto tickets keep coming up dry, so that project is still on hold LOL. I could see them doing it by engineering out a bunch of the truck specific items like piston oilers and such, changing the intake, etc.

The CAW Unifor local was awarded this program, in this contract. Will fill up Windsor annex, between the coyote and 6x program. Don't know much other than supposedly 415 cubic inches, aluminum block. Talk is upscale models F150, and special models of Mustang.

If they make it a crate also, that's would be a great thing IMHO.
