Hope to be back at track this spring or later if necessary. Towards that end have been collecting parts to hopefully get Fairlane down the track quicker. Acquired a rebuilt older version Jerico with a 3.19 first gear. Had road race sliders added as car is a street car. Also new 29 x 10.5 bias ply Hoosiers. Additionally will be replacing the Ford 31 spline axles with Moser shafts.

I think you'll like the bite you get with the taller slicks.

David, I recalled what you had said about taller being the way to go.
First I had some M/T slicks in there but did not like how close they were to the front of the wheel well. The Hoosiers are a little smaller and give an inch of clearance. An additional benefit is the Hoosiers have less section width and more footprint. They are a 10.5 but have 11” of tread.
The inner fender wells experienced some sectioning and moving via a sawzall and 3 lb. hammer.
