Sold on eBay for $28,900, Burnt up with no engine. Maybe just a VIN tag a diff and some rims.

I can see it now. The next new trend... A fire find. Put in a drive train, new windshield and drive her as is. Everybody will just love it and maybe make the cover of Hotrod.

Problem is that - given the current pricing for nice, but not perfect, examples - you can make the math on that purchase work if you're an enterprising and talented type of enthusiast or body shop owner.

Don’t think I’d buy it sight unseen but I’d think hard about a deal like that.
-
I would give $15,000 for it. 28 is to much with everything having to be redone including a couple hundred hours getting the warpage out of the body panels.

I just went through a complete restoration that I did 90% of. ( Paint, body, machine work and differential set up was all I farmed out) That's a minimum of 100K doing most of the work. The 69-70 cars just aren't that attractive and 130K is on the high side on 69-70 cars. No money in it at that price.
