Title: Nice showing for Rusty Johnson this weekend in Gainesville

Rusty qualified #8 at a 10.888 in F/SA which was -0.962 under the index. He went a best in the 4th round with a 10.823 which was 1.027 under and I'm guessing there was more left in it as he was just running shoe polish. Then he went 5 rounds to get down to 4 cars and the semi's. Nice running 390 stocker right there. Congrats on a good start to the new racing season.

Yeah, those 390s really run.  They probably can use more weight.  LOL

Don did pretty well at Pomona.  He made it to the 6th round and finally lost to the car cover guy.

Yes I seen that as well. Richey was running good and Don when some rounds! I wonder if all those guys put rubber strut rod bushings back in?

I am familiar with that motor  8) Love those 390's
