What is interchangeable between '65 to '66? I'm fairly positive the frames are the same. What about windshield? Bumpers? Front sheet metal? Deck lid? etc.. I have a '66 custom with a bad frame and found a '65 hardtop for sale with a decent frame. Obviously the hard top is more desirable. Just curious what parts I could steal from one for the other. I appreciate any help.

There was a member on the old FE Forum who took the time to make up some nice notated pictures with the differences in the ‘65 & ‘66 rear suspension, and the ‘65 & ‘66 clutch linkages ( if my memory is correct ), and he may have even documented more. Unfortunately I don’t remember his screen name right now, maybe someone here remembers. I’ll try to look later tonight if I printed out any of his posts. If you have access to the new Tap-a-talk version of that forum ( and it cooperates ) you might be able to find his old posts.

Rear axle mounting is different. They almost look the same but they are not.
The '66 has a disk brake option and the '65 only had drum brakes.
