The company I work for is keeping the Booth space but we are considering not sending anyone to man it. Why? If we "opt out" , we lose our location ( potentially) that we have had since the move back to Indy from Orlando. I don't want to confuse people next year by possibly being in a different location. Those of you who have attended know why I'm concerned as our location is very good for high traffic. Maybe attendance will dwindle more and they will cancel it for this year ( as they should IMHO).
Let me know if you're going and I may send someone (or myself) to sit in a chair in an empty booth and answer questions.

I won't be going this year, I'd like to but with the Covid stuff it's too risky. Besides, my wife the infectious disease doctor at the county hospital would probably lock me in the shop before she'd let me go ;D
My booth space isn't that great, so if I lost it and had to take another space, that wouldn't be the end of the world for me. For sure I'll be there in 2021 - Jay

Jay: to me a very wise choice. Our county in Oregon has only 22 cases (but under 20,000 population) . We here in a tourist city don't want visitors even they are 50% of our bread and butter. We'd loose everything if it got here.
This doesn't seem trivial. I'm over 72 and have grand kids here in school that I'm not visiting.
End of my political rant.

As of today 9/11 , 455 exhibitors have cancelled their booth spaces. MORE will by the 15th , the last day to cancel at no cost unless PRI pulls the plug ( like they need to do).

It actually surprises me that they are still planning to do it, especially since SEMA was already cancelled. Big crowds in an indoor venue, not a good plan at this time...

Glad to hear you are being sensible. You are too valuable to the FE community to risk it for one show.

Same thing here. No way is the big show realistic.
My wife is an Elementary Music teacher, and for some reason her district decided that the Elementary kids are to get held "in person" while the high school and middle school are on line. Means that she is in contact with hundreds of kids every week. If I bring the "Corona" from one location to another - either way - I will be on the news....
