You know, I always wondered about the Lone Ranger's full set of teeth, despite apparently being in fist fights every episode.  Most of John Wayne's characters too.

Your not kidding. The way 200lb men got knocked across the room you would expect at least a reference to a missing tooth or dentist. Post in core probably wasn't around back then.

At least Terry Bradshaw spit out a tooth in his fight with Burt Reynolds.

More than one actor has said that you couldn't tell when a scene ended with Mr. Wayne. He didn't "act" a part, he WAS the part.
