Title: Tunnel port
Post by: Hipopinto on June 17, 2020, 07:21:00 AM
Hey all

Another question that’s more for reference

How do tunnel port heads breathe?

Are they better than traditional style ports?

They breathe a lot better when you close the CSA up.  Raising the floor of the port with some port shaping will net a 380cfm port that's smaller than the original.

Only issue is the big honkin tube going down through the intake manifold, but a worked TP head will support big horsepower.

Anyone have any thoughts or experience with flowing tunnel port heads with Jay's intake adapter attached and Trick Flow style port flow vane modifications?
