Title: best summertime oil

what would be a good choice street-strip oil [brand and weight] for a healthy hyd flat tappet 428 in the summer heat of east tn.

Here is my .02 cents Valvoline Vr1 10w30 or 20w50. If you have good oil pressure run the lighter weight oil.

I run 10w-30 VR-1 racing oil in both the dragster 393 and the door car 357.  No issues.

I like Mobil 1 15W50.

I've done VR1 20w50 in both hot rods and the wagon for decades.

it has 10w 30 Valvoline synthetic in it now and its using a little,very little,but i had the thicker stuff in it last summer and it didn,t use.the 20w50 sounds good to me. thanks
