Title: New Shorty Exhaust Manifolds
Post by: BruceS on May 28, 2020, 08:24:44 AM
Just saw where Kugel Komponents posted on their Facebook page.  A run of their repro cast shorty manifolds have arrived from the foundry and are headed to the machine shop:

They look like the ones that would fit pre-'65 Galaxies / Montereys.

Those 50 sets will be gone  as soon as he gets them machined.  Joe-JDC

Joe, glad to hear you say they'll be gone as soon as they come from machining.  Hope Kugel keeps making them (and makes a profit) so they will continue to be available.  I like that he eliminated the heat stoves on the outside for a clean look.  Some ceramic coating and good to go!

Why in the hello would any business use a Facebook page for business that a customer can not look around in if you are not a Facebook member.

They didn't hide anything from non-facebook accounts (I know some businesses/people do) including a link to their main website. I think it's just an instant way of letting the few thousand people who follow their page that a new product is ready.

Great looking parts btw, and I hope they can generate enough interest to continue production.

And I hope they or somebody takes a good look at 429CJ exhaust manifolds, 'cuz you can't find them anywhere.

Kind of pricey at $750. Before now I was thinking about selling one of my sets and putting shorty SS headers on my 48 Lincoln. Now I might just keep both sets.
I've always considered them about a $500 value.
