Title: Still need a 28 spline 9" 3rd member ... 3.50, 3.70 or such

I could use a 3.50, 3.70 or ??

Prefer it not to have teeth sharp enough to shave with, deep pits in the bearing surface

Howls as the wolfman, been driven cross country with no fluid, been submerged in salt water for years, etc

1/2" backlash and metal shavings packed around the insides

What is the ideal unit you are after? 28 spline 4 pin Trac-Loc with 3.50 gears? Do you need a case? I saw a 3.50 gear set here the other day. I know I don’t have an assembled case with the differential that you are after but maybe a collection of the parts.

Any way is fine. You can wait until you get it if you like. My only hitch is I don't have a shipping box. Well, I have a another center section in a box. I could use that. Send me your address and give me a couple of days and it will be headed your way.
