Title: Pictures of Cammer in 67-68 mustang
Post by: 338Raptor on April 27, 2020, 12:37:32 AM
Does anyone have pics of a Cammer in a 67-68 mustang?
I’m trying to do some pre-planning before my engine is ready to install.
I already have the shock towers deleted an I’m interested in seeing what others have done for brake booster relocation options.  Also, if there are other clearance concerns (ie. headers).

I set mine up with a Wilwood dual cylinder setup.  The picture below shows the two small reservoirs, one for the front brakes and one for the rear.  They clear the SOHC valve covers just fine.

If you are going to stay with a standard dual reservoir master cylinder, you will need to relocate it.  Most people do that with a kind of bellcrank arrangement, that raises the master cylinder up 6" or so.

I used the master cylinder from a late model Mustang Cobra and fabricated an aluminum wedge to angle the M/C up like the Boss 429 to get clearance.

I wish you would quit posting that picture, I start drooling and have to change my shirt everytime I see it.
