WTB 31 spline axles for 66 Fairlane GT 9inch.
-
Housing will go but case has to be replaced and the Carrier. The big axle requires an aftermarket case to accommodate a larger bearing.

Thanks for the response, I have a complete Strange N case. I looked at new Strange and Moser online but I haven't pulled my axles to measure them. Just thought I'd check here to see if anyone had a set for sell.

I would go with Currie stuff reasonable price and lots of options like taper housing end bearings. Heavy duty without the crazy mozier price.

I like Currie Stuff also.
Lots of options and fair prices.
You may find that a 67 or later Mustang Axle set may fit your Fairlane Housing.
I think the difference is just the spring perches and where they where welded on.
Really though for the cost of new axles and fresh wheel studs and bearings, it`s pretty hard to beat a new set over
vintage.
My all custom Currie Heavy Duty Big Bearing 67 Fairlane setup.
No traction with the BFG`s but the rest of the gear works great. ::)

I am going.with the same set up but with Caltracs rear suspension to save weight. I like the Daytona big bearing option that Currie offers and the sportsman big bearing case nice combo with a 35 or 40 spline axle with taper bearing and late Torino ends, bullet proof.

Thanks for the info, I will check into Currie.
