Had one of those days. It actually started yesterday got about 20 Inch snow this
weekend. The tractor guy had not cleaned the snow yesterday morning. Probably
been in the tractor for 48 hours. I got stuck with the car had to shovel me out to
the road. When i was up on the road the tractor guy came ::) Then i was in the
garage swapping headgasket on a Nissan King Cab Diesel cleaning some parts dropped
the cyl head in the cleaning bath got kerosene
all over my shirt. Got in and dropped it of in the laundry room, finished up the Nissan
Went in for a coffee....hmmm no milk wife have been gone for a week taking care of
some farm animals for a friend. So I'm running low on suplies better do some shopping.
Where in the h... is my visa card??? Hmmmm maybe i lost it friday when i bought a wiperblade,
last time i used it. search the house nowhere to be found check the account money still there
Move the money to another account, went to bed, then i realiced its in the shirtpocket on the
kerosene shirt. Went down and yes there it is, to late for shopping any way. Went to bed again
Wake up to a beautiful sunny day snow is white and shiny, lets go shopping .....where the he...
did i put the visa card? searched the house, nowere to be found...Well the chimneysweper coming
Wednesday lets fix the ladder for him.
Thought about doing it Friday when there was only one feet snow.
Now on the side of the house where i left the ladder there is a drift about 40 inches of snow ::)
Shovel my way to the ladder, get it, go over to where the ladder shall be. Put it down in the snowdrift,
to short, extend it, with my arm stretched up to max i some how get my thumb pinched between the
two ladder sections with the safety locks locked. Need two hands to manipulate them....There i stand
like an idiot snow up to my knees left arm raised straight up stuck in the ladder, that i could not lift
because my thumb is stuck in it. Could not pull out the bottom of it because it is deep in the snow, thumb
really starts to hurt now. What to do???? had to pull out the ladder backwards and laydown in the snow,
with the ladder over me...With the ladder down i could pull the safetylock on one side and pull out the
thumb with force. Went in emptied out the snow from the clothes, started to clean up the kitchen, put away
the salt...And there among the spices was the visa card :o Really starting to question my mental health.
Anyway went shopping, when I'm about to pay no money on the account???tried again no money
AHHHHHHH I transferred the money to the other account that's not accessible with the card :-[
Went home transferred the money back, went to the supermarket paid, met a timber truck that draw up
a lot of snow, started the wipers, swoop there flew my new wiperblade under the timber truck.
I should have stayed in bed today

That's too funny. You should have spent the day installing those new chrome exhaust tips on the Galaxie. You do have some, right?
-
Heo, that's hilarious! Lol. Thank you for the comedy to start my day. Certainly not laughing at you, only the circumstances. We've all had days like that.
I particularly liked the ladder incident and the capper, the wipers flying off! lol.
Have a great day my friend! :)

I feel your pain, Heo. If it's going to happen, it'll happen to me!
Both parents have terminal cancer, my stepdaughter lost her baby two days before Christmas. I get home and have to head right back out for another funeral a week later. My sister in law passed at 48. Not a great way to spend one's vacation.
We'll cross our fingers and put up a prayer for an uneventful year.

Geez, Heo, if it wasn't in the middle of winter for you, I'd say it's time to go visit that place we talked about!

Ahhh, good old Fawlty Towers, the best comedy show ever.
They made a Corgi diecast of Basil and a red Austin "A damned good thrashing"
I think it was $50 at the local place but this is $500 US for the same one...
https://www.ebay.com/c/1801023431
A price guide shows a lot less...
