Saved for months and finally on the way it's like waiting for Santa LOL.
-
Carbs are here just waiting on Barry to send the crank, rods and cam and my engine is ready for assembly.
-
I must have missed the details on the carbs and the pictures. :P

Can't post pics here from my smart phone but they are 750 CFM Edelbrock carbs from Rob Mix converted to E85. I am using progressive linkage to make things happen on my performer rpm air gap intake. If it all works out the secondaries will open on demand and primaries will do most of the work. Rob did the set up and I am confident of his recommendations as he does a lot of them.

Its a great feeling when all your parts have come in. Good luck with your build. What are you putting it in? Clifford

I am building a 66 comet for road race got a 445 stroker with Edelbrock heads and dual Edelbrock 750s converted to E85 by Rob Mix. The chassis needs everything hardly started on that and I need to get the trans and rear still. But coming along slowly, with lots to go.

I also have a 65 Comet Caliente Convertable my grand mother bought new. Love it. I added Torque Thrusters IIs and 323 HP under the hood. 1 cool car. You will enjoy yours. Were 66s able to except FE's from the factory. My 65 wont. Just wondering. Clifford

66 was the first year with a 390 two barrel and 4 speed, not sure about the cyclone mine is also a Caliente but in sorry condition. I bought it with the in tension of modifying it from the get go. Sounds like yours is a nice origin an example, I wouldn't do anything you can see to that. I have a original 26 Chrysler model 70 no small block Chevy going there LOL

I have a 25 Chrysler phaeton shorted to
two doors with a 292 y-block built
to a hotrod in the 60s no need
for a scb there either ;D ;D(http://i1050.photobucket.com/albums/s413/Golioxi/087_zps345155a9.jpg)
