Title: HI Riser 1x4 Fuel Log- Ever Made By Ford??

Hello, just wanted to see if anyone had info on any fuel logs possibly made by Ford for the High Riser factory dual plane C4.... 1x4 intake. pictures would also be helpful, part #? Thanks

To start with, please understand that I'm just guessing. With that said, I've never owned a factory single carb engine. But I also don't remember any factory single carb 427 of any description that used a fuel log.

I put together a 427 to put into my '67 Cougar XR7GT in 1968 and used a sidewinder manifold. I used a Holley originally designed for a race-intended 427 Cobra. It used the LeMans-type bowls with a separate fuel entrance on each bowl. I simply used a 'T' in the fuel line, which came off the cartridge filter in front of the driver's-side rocker cover.

Yes, showed up with the LeMans bowls. Shorter version of the 8V fuel logs with one outlet going to each bowl.

   Yes still available from Dearborn Steel Tubing ( the original supplier) Single or dual four and yes they are different.

I stand corrected. And I should have said that the only 427 I ever owned is one I put together myself. All others have had dual quads.
