Title: soft loc clutch on the street
Post by: ron bidstrup on November 24, 2019, 09:34:38 AM
I am going to be using a soft loc clutch on my street strip 69 cj mustang.  I have been using it at the strip and have it set up very well. does anybody have a base starting point for street use?  thanks  ron

crank in 8 turns, and add 13 grams counterweight on each lever (all total 39). My brother has been running his like that for years, no issues. Go back to the strip, just pull it back to 3 turns or so, leave counterweight as is, launch at 4500 first pass and go up from there if needed...

xr 7, do you recall what nut and bolt combination got you at 13 grams.  just looking for a ball park, I can fine tune the weight.
