It seems like a good deal?
And for my modest 482 looks like a good fit.
Any do's and don'ts.
Engine Specs:
427 Genesis Block. Bore 4.250"
4.250" Stroker kit.
Edelbrock heads 2.19 int 1.72 exh home machine shop valve job. I have a big Mill in the shed. lol
Erson Rockers.
Tunnel Wedge with vintage 1850's #1's
MSD and Dig 6 Box.
Hookers
Trans: C6 with a converter
My goal is to lift the wheels on the 68 Fastback and get a pic and hang it in the shed. :P
And do a bit of grocery shopping with it.
Thanks.

I like that cam, Howie, and I think it would work well in your engine. Probably a 650-ish horsepower level. Do NOT use the Comp recommended springs; they will give up way early. The Comp 943 springs (240 on the seat, 600 over the nose) will run to 7000 RPM with that cam.

You can also get a custom cam. If you like Comp there's another lobe from the the High Energy family (same as the 308R) with 255* at .05 lift with the same lobe lift as the 308R. The Extreme Energy series has lobes up to 272* at 6* intervals. Maybe Jay or a guy like Chris Padgett at Comp can help you pick a good grind for what you want.
If your plan is to hang the hoops get the suspension goodies from Calvert if you don't already have them. And you will need a very good high stall converter.
Watch the tach on Miele's 428 Shelby stocker at launch and after he shifts:

Thanks Guys
I have the Bars, I need the springs and shocks.
Well a couple of other goodies to even think about standing it up. ::)
Hopefully by mid summer I will be testing.

I'm not really a Fan of Comp roller lifters..... I feel there is better out there and last longer out on the street. As for the cam itself, there are a few people running them and like it! JMHO
