Title: WTB - 427 side oiler block and misc parts
Post by: ntheogen on September 23, 2019, 07:02:47 PM
I'm looking for a near impossible block to find but I'm hoping someone has one.

C5ae-h or C5ae-G Side oiler block - IT MUST BE DATED JANUARY OR FEBRUARY OF 1965.

Looking for a c5 dated alternator bracket for an FE as well as a C3 or C5 dated starter. Starter wanted in any condition.

Also in need of a C4ae-b camshaft, it will have VM in between the lobes. Any condition acceptable, will regrind it if necessary.

Thanks in advance.

Does such a block exist? Can you share what chassis it is needed for Jack?
Hopefully Lars will weigh in with perspective.
Good luck,
JB

Oh they definitely existed. Well..... I didn't really want it was for but you asked so I'll answer. This block Is for one of the 17 or 19 competition Cobras made. It most likely came with a G block being that early since the H blocks were made a bit later, but it's Ford and it was for racing, so who really knows. I have a buddy redoing one of the Comp cars and I'm trying to help him locate a correctly dated block for it.

Yes they were, but with the extra oil drain drilled into the deck.
