Title: Blue Thunder - HI Rise aluminum head torque specs
Post by: John67427 on September 07, 2019, 03:52:26 PM
Would anyone have any info on torque specs? Blue Thunder aluminum Hi Rise heads on aluminum Shelby block. Going to have to do some maintenance and realize I have no info for torque specifications.

The listing is for ARP Studs. 95 FTLB in two increments with ARP lube.

Be sure that you have anti seize on the studs in the block.  I torque the studs in the Shelby blocks to 15-20 to be sure the buttons are seated properly in the bottom.  With ARP lube on the washers and nuts, I would go "snug" in sequence, then 50 in sequence, 75 in sequence, and then 100 in sequence.
