How are big f med riser heads differant from small f ones.

Blair Patrick once related that the big F heads had a bigger 164 cc intake port as  compared to the small f heads which were 153 cc. He also said you can't port a small f to a big F size without hitting water. Different intake port core.

The combustion chambers are different as well.
