Have a 2001 V6 with 70,000 miles, 2009 F150
My old scanner does not see the ABS

Hardware and software that may access the CAN bus will be required. I believe software below has the ability just need a compatible dongle. I have a Chinese knockoff of the elm327 but have not tried it yet.

That tool may be able to read a ABS code but not run a bleed brakes. I use the software from Motorcraft the same as dealers have then I can do so much more. Have had it since 2012. One can do anything the dealer can.

I'm thinking I will need some kind of dongle to connect a laptop or perhaps an eyepad ??
Also, I have had no luck finding the MS software
