Title: 65 galaxie headers on for motor installation
Post by: Dieselman966 on June 21, 2019, 11:34:42 PM
I'm getting ready to put my 352 back into my 65 galaxie. I'm wondering if I can get away with having the sanderson headers and starter on before I drop back into the car.  I pulled the headers off when I pulled it but it would be awesome if I could install them with the engine out on the stand still.

I see no reason not too, makes life easier. I did it in a 66 Fairlane should be a breeze in a galaxie.

I'll give it a try here in the next week or so and report back with my findings.

No way in hell you could get Hookers in a Shelby with them on. The headers above tuck nicely.

I installed the 352 today with all accessories attached.  Went in pretty easy with the Sanderson headers I have on the motor.

A 352 into what? I Galaxie, Truck?  The shock tower cars it isn't happening with the exception of one and some shorties.
