Title: Best place to sell flathead and '50s car parts?...
Post by: cjshaker on June 20, 2019, 07:35:01 AM
I'm going to start helping my dad unload his stash of '40s-'50s car/truck parts, and that includes a bunch of NOS and used flathead parts. What is the best site to sell them on? I know about the Hamb website, but what are some other good sites to aim these parts at?

Thanks for those links. Both look like good places to sell stuff.

Sorry, been a pretty busy week. My dad was always a 6 cylinder guy, so he used to have a dual carb intake and a couple sets of Fenton headers. I'm not sure if hes still got that stuff or not. A lot of the stuff is NOS bearings, rings, timing gears, lifters, gaskets etc. Obviously, not to many guys can use standard pistons, rings and bearings though, so not sure what all is even worth keeping.

I sold 3 of my standard bore V8 flatheads last year. Still got a couple left, but a friend wants one for his '50 woodie wagon, and I hate to get rid of every one I've got. Never know if an opportunity came up to use it. There aren't many good, all original and complete flatheads around anymore.
