At this point, I am considering a move from the flat tappet cam to a roller. I am time constrained so I am going to have to order pushrods.
I am running Edelbrocks with adjustable rollers and Isky 3/8" pushrods with a length of 9.343. The lifter base to cup on the Erson roller is 2.033.
The SLR cam I currently have in the block came with the Johnson Hylift anti-pump up flat tappets but I couldn't get a measurement from base to cup on these.
Should I be able to use the Isky push rod with my Dove roller valvetrain, or anyone have an idea of what I should order lengthwise to make this work?
Do I need to change the cast iron cam thrust plate? Distributor drive gear?
I have never run a roller cam before so I am unfamiliar with what I will need to change.

You will need to measure for pushrods because it will depend on the lifter that's used. Morel/Crane/Comp have different pushrod seat heights.
You can run a cast thrust plate although I prefer to see steel plates when I can. You will need a steel distributor gear as the cam cores are steel. No bronze. No cast. No polymer. No special recipe gears.

Only thing I can add to Brent's post is to guarantee that you cannot use your existing pushrods.
We usually see them somewhere between 8.350 and 8.450 in length as measured from the bottom of the cup
