Have you tried your new rocker arms on the trick flow heads to check geometry? I’ve tried looking through the various posts to find an answer.....

Sure haven't. But it's going to be more of a function of stand height and my rockers will work with any shaft/stand combination.

I was curious it seems from what I’ve read that the only rockers that work with the trick flow heads without modifying the stands are the Harland sharps or is the difference in the stands themselves?

Could H/S rocker stands be Highriser size ? Have you measured different A/M stands and compared to both OE stands

HS stands are definitely not high riser height.

I don't have stands to compare. Can you measure the H/S to stock stand height and post them ?

i think the hs stands are shorter than stock rocker stands because stock rocker bolts wont fit with hs rockers. they are too long,they bottom out in the heads,believe me i know because i tried it and i messed up a new set of bbm heads.the stock bolts punched out holes in the head runners and now they seep oil past the rocker stand bolts into the head causing smoke and oil consumption.i think hs stands are longer than high rise stands but shorter than low riser

Not an ideal situation but lots of aftermarket heads on other makes, Ford included, also have rocker stud "holes". Instruction sheet info does state to use heat-resistant silicone or better, thread locker, to prevent oil seepage into the intake runners.

Ah! Got it. Yes that is an unusual situation and hard to fix.
yes it sucks,literally. when i tightened the rocker shaft bolts i felt normal resistance.so when i torqued them down it punched out dime sized holes,and as thin as a dime.thats all the medal at the bottom of the holes till it busts through.igornance on my part,but once i tightened them down the damage was done.i need to find someone to repair them. in east tn i dont know anyone to take them to since s&g closed down in bristol.

Replace your inserts with Keenserts. Put them in with threadlocker/sealer. Then use studs, also with the threadlocker/sealer. Hey-Presto!! :)

I have one head where the stud registers broke through at the bottom. I used lock tight thread sealer on the studs, dries hard. Never had any problems with leak through.

mine busted through all eight holes but only one or two leak.but thats one or two too many. can the incerts be taken out and can those keencerts be put in without removing the heads

You should be able to do that dip the tap in grease so the
shavings get stuck in the grease

i could remove the intake and catch it from the bottom of the holes

Per Harland Sharp tech their stands are 1.375 stand mounting base to shaft centerline

If I remember correctly, the Comp set was about 1.400". I think the POP stands showed a ~1.400" height as well.
