I am looking at the Edelbrock 60069 heads. I am currently running C6AE-R with 2.09-1.65 valves with a little chamber work. Would the increases be noticeable, or just a weights savings of about 40lbs?

If you make no other changes, the mid-range will be stronger.  Not profoundly stronger, but seat-of-the-pants stronger.  FE heads are not all that bad in actual performance.  Yeah, I know the flow numbers for a lot of the garden variety heads are not all that outstanding, but you can't drive a flow bench.  So, you're swapping a low rise head for a medium rise head.  The combination will determine your true outcome.

It's on my '67 Shelby. I am running the original C7ZX dual quad.  I think the port alignment will be better as well.

I would say yes.  You will a noticeable increase in power.  Might be 20 hp depending on the combination.  Combined with the weight savings (36 lb), I think it will be noticeable.  Not huge, but noticeable.

If they did any blending to the larger valves, i don’t think you’ll see much difference.  MR intake to LR head is fine
