Title: I Did Something Wrong? Double Post Ended Up Here And In The Non FE Section
Post by: chris401 on May 06, 2019, 11:26:46 PM
3.54 gears. Has resistance when you raise one wheel and turn it. The owner told me this was an F-100 Camper Special. Seems reasonable if the rear, shocks and NP435 are factory. Pictured are the numbers it has on the right rear tube. These are not any BOM numbers I could find on line. Anyone else know?
Thanks

Years ago, I owned a 67 F100 with a 5 lug Dana 60,with 3.54 gears and a limited slip differential. It was a clutch style unit, I think it was called a "Power Lok" or something similar. Whatever it was called, it was a very good locking diff.

Yes. All those got the good 4 spider Powerlok. The whole reason for that Dana 60 was there wasn't a limited slip 9" in the trucks until later (70?)
