It is not something I will use anytime soon and I did not want to modify it to add a vacuum advance. I figured if they sold on EBay for $600 to $800 then half would be about right. The man at Bubbas suggested polishing the cam. If I was going to run this on a daily driver I would send it to Bubbas for a Pertronix conversion or new cam and repaint.

FYI Bubba (Jim Linder) quoted me $300 to rebuild mine. But it's in very good condition.
Also there is a NOS Grant-Spaulding on HAMB for $800 so this $350 seems to be a good price.

Edit as a second thought I would have Bubba's at least curve the NOS Distributor for my needs and no idea what he would charge so you would be approaching $1K
or the price of a true Mag etc-------- . Also consider Grant-Spaulding's and Vertex Mags  are much taller than a Distributor so Air cleaner clearance could be an issue.
