Title: Powdercoating
Post by: Stangman on April 26, 2019, 04:20:48 PM
So dad bought a kit car 33 roadster, control arms have bushings in it, can they be powder coated with them in it. I havent seen them myself to see if they can be pressed out. I would imagine they can. Maybe the heat isn’t too that bad.

They need to be removed.

Powder coating is usually baked at about 400 degrees. Rubber or polyurethane doesn't hold up under those temperatures. They have to be removed.
