Does anyone know what size the 2 holes need to be and how critical the locations are for modifying a clutch fork to use the earlier style bellhousing pivot? I have an early 428/390GT bracket, and am planning to leave the bracket and modify the fork. I drilled out the rivets and removed the clip that is for the later style pivot bracket, and was planning to drill the fork clip holes today.

Would do just the opposite, leave the spring clip on the fork and change out the pivot on the bell housing for the later design.

That was my first thought, but solution 2 will get this done faster. I already removed the riveted plate and the spring clip should be here tomorrow.
