Title: Advice on a 390 block for stroking
Post by: 1Bad500 on March 17, 2019, 11:45:33 PM
Looking at buying this for my stroker build.  Good deal?  Any concerns?  All machine work is done except the bore/hone & decking.

I say pull the trigger, you couldn't replicate one for that money.  I have a 64 block like this that I had plans on doing the same thing too.

I’m out of town this week but the guy said he will hold it for me. I will post a few better pictures on Saturday when I pick it up.  8)

Should make a good starting platform for a 445” Stroker.

Well... I see one thing wrong with my new purchase.  1-3/4" freeze plugs.  Hope this was a good buy.
