Nice looking cars. Can't say I like the wheels on the 64 Galaxie though...

Great to see the Joniec Mustang CJ... I was at the Winternationals in Pomona, CA Feb. '68 when that stable of CJs was rolled out. Ford had many of their hotshoes of the time driving them, in additon to their regular Ford drag machines. I remember seeing Gas Ronda and Hubert Platt driving CJs too. I looked under the hood of one of them and saw the same view as shown in one of the pictures. What a thrill that was for an 18-year old car guy!

Certainly not period correct at all. Normally I'm not a fan of big shiny hoops either but, in this case, they seemed right when looking at the car -- the photo doesn't do them justice. Very subjective things: wheels, stance, exhaust note...
