Title: WTB long tube headers.
Post by: sideoilercat on January 20, 2019, 04:56:33 PM: Looking to buy good used headers for Cougar/Mustang, have MR pattern but more bolt holes OK. I need the front 2 tubes to come in front of the a arms like the race Hookers, Doug's old Jardines etc. prefer 2"tubes. New ones are a little out of my budget (I know, it's an FE and I got a chevy budget). Thanks.

Post by: 67xr7cat on January 20, 2019, 08:18:14 PM: I have a set of mad dog headers. Are new, painted black, just been sitting. Fit 67-70 mustang/cougar. They have the 428cj flange, are 2" tubes, and the the front two tubes on each side go under the lower a arms. I'd take $250 plus shipping. I am in San Antonio, TX. If interested can send you some pictures.

BTW just be clear I bought these a year ago from a guy who bought them new for his 67 Mustang but decided against them because of the low ground clearance. Since then I good a deal on some coated 6114 hookers so don't need these. From what I can see these are correct for a mustang/cougar but never installed them so I am going off of what I was told. I have a photo of the MD Mustang headers and they look like yours and ground clearance is not an issue with my Cougar it sits way up in the front. Let me know on how to handle the purchase once you get the totals. You do the PayPal thing?

I can do paypal. Depending how you send the money there can be a charge 3% of total. If you send as family & friend and fund from PayPal or a bank account is no charge otherwise figure adding 3% total on top. OK let me know if you want to go ahead.
