Title: need another water pump

for my 67 390 FE cuz the seal is leaking badly. I cannot to save my soul get the fitting off of it to put on the next one (it's a steel fitting). Is this fitting a 1/2 inch npt? And where can I get a brass fitting instead?  Thanking you in advance

all the water pumps ive bought came with the fitting.i bought a eld alu pump and it came with a brass fitting.
