I have this type of motor mount, Im not happy with the feel Im getting in the car. to much vibration.
I'm Not thilled about changing back to stock mount's (Big Pain )
My thought .... Do you think if I used a truck type (1/4" thick type) mud flap and cut it to fit perfectly inbetween the lower mount and the cars frame this would solve the vibration ? I Think I could do this without to much yelling ...
??? :-\ what do you think?

Whats the bushing material, urathane or plain rubber?

Try rubber bushes. I don't think the rubber pads are a good solution.

I think the rubber pads would be worth a shot, but really what you would like to do is also drill the holes a little oversize and bush the bolts, so that there isn't any metal on metal. Alternatively you could disassemble the urethane from the existing mounts and replace that with rubber, although I'm not sure where you'd get the right rubber for the job; McMaster Carr maybe?
By the way, here's a photo of a torque strap that you asked for. One bracket welded to the frame, the other bolted to the engine in some secure location, and a couple of rod ends connecting them together:

I solved some of my problems ...(IM stupid) I got under the car and started to investigate how I was going to attack the motor mounts and happend to see a issue!! The header ball flange was turned up aginst the frame on the passanger side ! This was transmitting vibrations in the car. I loosened it and turned it and walla !! way better! still can feel more than stock but not nothing like it was ! simple oversite glad thats over .. Now onto the shifter problem .... ;D
