Title: Quench

Install piston tonight, they are .011 down and I have 1020gasket ,they hare.041 thick so .051 of
Quench . Is it ok ,or should order gasket that are thinner to get closer to .40.

I would run it. .040 quench is recommended if you are optimizing everything but .051 in my book is good.

I agree, I like to crowd it as much as I can, up to about .055 is still working for you.  What's your compression, cam, and type of head you are running?

The way it is now comp. would be 9.64 with the calculator I have.
Brent ad a cam made for me here are the spec.

the heads are cnc ported Pond and come from Brent. thanks Marc.

run it
