      I had the pleasure of working with David on the flathead Fords he raced in his final years. Racing was a given to him . It's just what you did! His fierce competitive nature never changed , RIP  Silver Fox.

Pearson could drive, he was a fantastic wheelman. Holman Moody, Wood Brothers, he had a good sense of the whole track. I still have a hood from the 1976 no.21 in my garage. Some big wins for Ford. RIP
