I have an extra Cobra Jet block that is dated March 1970.  This is a bare block with the caps...but it does have two areas where the caps bolt down into the block that are cracked.  Can be fixed but figure its best for whoever needs this, or wants this, to fix it.  Asking $500 for the block.  Offers considered.  Located in Scottsdale, Arizona area.

Additional info; block is currently .030 over and has been run before so don't assume it will stay at .030.

Email to Marcus Anghel if interested.

What is the current bore size?  STD or 0.060" over makes all the difference in the world.

 thanks,

I agree.  Just didn't have the info at the time.  It is .030 over now.  I have edited the ad.

				0.030" over is not bad.

Typically, how much can these blocks be bored?

usually .040 with out any issue. If I where boring to .060 I would want a sonic check.

I agree with Lance.  Though I ran a .060 over block in my '69 SCJ car for years (on the street) with no issues at all.  Depends on how the block was originally cast.
