Title: Block Filler

anyone add block filler to street driven FE Motor?  Any advantage, dis advantage? Engine / car   will see some track time   Thanks

Yep, do it all the time.   You will most likely need to run an oil cooler.  It doesn't get the water hot, but it can cause the oil temps to bump up.

As Brent said - for a street/strip car I would not.  I didn't even do it in the dragster and that is pure drag only.  If you decide to do it, do it before you do final hone on the block because it will distort the cylinders a bit.

I have a half fill in my street 428.  It seems to work fine.  I've been driving it for over 10 years.  I did put an oil cooler on it.
