Title: Molding tool I D ?
Post by: Tambo on October 20, 2018, 04:43:38 AM
Just bought a 63 1/2 Galaxie running a built 428 and T 10 four speed.
There were quite a few spares and stuff in the trunk including this ... https://www.dearbornclassics.com/molding-removal-tool.html. Can anyone advise what it does and how to use it? Thanks.

It's used to remove the front windshield moldings & rear window moldings from the little clips underneath them that hold them on.

Hey thanks for that Kevin.
Looking at your cars, I had a 66 Park Lane fastback with 410 / C6 drivetrain and a 66 Cyclone GT vert with 390 / Toploader.

So do I Dan. Of all the cars I've had, that's the one I would have kept. Unfortunately, circumstances prevented this ... I know where it is and if I come into money, I'll try to buy it back.
