Title: Was someone looking for Chrome 1963 427 VC?

Can't find the thread.
I was in Colorado for a month and got real busy helping my BIL so wasn't able to send a reply or stop to see Mike Brunson.
Did whoever it was find some?

2nd question how do you ID Ford vs reproduction?

For ID-ing Ford vs. repro valve covers, first I would look for signs of age and prior installation. Also the Ford covers will probably have a date code stamped on them.

The new repops do not have the raised area around the bolt holes like the originals do.

Thanks for the info on the Bolt holes and stamped date. Will check my sets.
